Kingstown Boy

WINNER OF THE 12 WEEK PERFORMANCE TEST IN IRELAND

When we were first looking for an irish stallion in 2007, the sons of Village Boy were strongly represented in our wishing list. Kingstown Boy was very high on the list. But he was not for sale. Even so, we had a good experience visiting him and the O'Flynns at Ballylee in the early Spring of 2008.

If you want your dreams to come true - be patient! In the summer of 2009, at the Clifden Showgrounds, Lisbeth was approached by the O'Flynns. November 4th, at 11:55 PM, Kingstown Boy arrived to Mørkhøj Connemara. The miracle had happened, and it was very, very surreal...

We did not plan to be the owners of TWO stallions. But we were never in doubt: Saying no to a stallion the caliber of Kingstown Boy was not an option.
Glencarrig Fionn and Kingstown Boy are two first class irish stallions - in two very different ways.

Kingstown Boy is inspected as a Class1 stallion in Ireland. He stands 142 cm. He was born in 1993.

Kingstown Boy has an outstanding pedigree on both sides.
He passed the performance test with the highest score for any connemara pony the year he was shown.

IF YOU ARE THE LUCKY OWNER OF A TALL, QUALITY MARE - YOU MIGTH WANT TO USE KINGSTOWN BOY - ONE OF THE BEST, TRADITIONAL IRISH STALLIONS EVER TO SET FEET ON DANISH GROUND!
