Seloc Kittyhawk
We purchased Seloc Kittyhawk in England in the spring of 2009. The last few years she was a breeding mare with Vanessa Compton. She has had several foals with the stallion Castle Comet.
Sally Coles (who bred Kittyhawk and owned her the first years of her life) writes:
"With me, she won/was placed in-hand at northern Connemara Show, Connemara main breed show, North Yorkshire County (Champion). Under saddle she won at Royal Lancashire Show, placed Royal Bath and West and Ponies Association UK Championships".
Seloc Kittyhawk is a "classic" connemara breeding mare - the type you'll find in the remote, irish countryside. We hope to cover her successfully with our stallions during the next couple of years.
We presented Kittyhawk at the danish inspection in the summer of 2009.
She did very well, was rated Class1, even though she behaved like a "teenager" amongst all the younger mares.
Seloc Kittyhawk was born March 30th, 1993. She was born brown and has turned grey.
Seloc Kittyhawk stands 147 cm.
